Things You’ve Been Asking Me

Yep, I do. Everything I post here has actually passed through my very real, often overstuffed mailbox. Sometimes things are great, sometimes they’re just… weird. But I always test them myself before writing.

It really depends — I’ve had things arrive in a week, and others take closer to a month. I usually forget I ordered something and then it feels like a surprise gift to myself.

Sometimes yes, sometimes… almost. I’ve had pieces that looked exactly right, and others that made me tilt my head and say “hmm.” That’s part of the fun (and why I write about it).

I’m usually a medium, but I always double-check the measurements on the product page. Some items run wild with sizing. If something fits weirdly, I always mention it in the review.

Not always! I keep what I genuinely like or wear often. Some pieces go to friends, some to donation bins. I try to be honest with myself (and with you) about what’s actually useful.

Honestly? I just kept finding odd little things online and wanted a place to talk about them without being “salesy.” Now it’s kind of like a digital journal — one that occasionally wears dramatic sunglasses indoors.

How It All Began

I started this blog — Look Like Me — about a month ago, mostly out of curiosity (and maybe a little chaos in my shopping habits). I’m Ivy, and I kept finding these strange, pretty, useful, sometimes totally unnecessary things on AliExpress — and I just wanted a place to talk about them honestly.

No goals to sell or promote anything. Just a quiet little space where I can share what showed up in my mailbox, what I liked, what made me laugh, and what I’d never order again. It’s all written by me, in my voice, in my slightly cluttered apartment — and if it feels like you’re reading notes from a friend, then it’s working just right.
